Some of the facilities in VIP-Energy are:

• Structural input data such as area and material layer can now be exported directly from the CAD software ArchiCad from Graphisoft.¹
• Climate data has been complemented with wind direction with which there is a possibility to describe shelter from the wind in all quarters.
• A new function for cooling effect is introduced.
• Increased possibilities for describing time schedules for operation data such as room temperature and process energy.
• Ventilation data has been complemented with recirculated air and maximum allowed supply air temperature. 
• Increased possibilities to control transmitted air between zones when calculating several zones.
• The report generating system has been revised in order to provide the user with more possibilities for handling the from VIP-Energy generated calculation results. The user can now create reports in a number of standard formats such as ODF, PDF, XML and HTML.
