I've been working with other softwares for the last 5 years and recently switched to FEM-design. One feature that I really miss is the possibility to extract the internal forces in the beam ends only.
Lets say you have a complex steel structure with many load combinations and you want to check the steel joints by hand calculations. You might want to export the internal forces in the beam ends to excel so that you easily can sort out the data that you need. To be able to do this you have to make a point connection in every joint you want to extract the results from. Or you can use the internal forces and sort by "x", but if the length of the bars is different it could be very time consuming if you have many bars and load combinations to sort out. If you had the option to export only the beam end forces this would have been done in the blink of an eye.
In this subforum you can post user requests of functions and improvements. The more details (pictures, documents, etc) you provide the better the feature can be. We will take all requests into consideration when planning upcoming work!
