Add load combinaton in Steel Joint (built-in) manual design

Postby StruSoft Iwona Budny » 17 Jan 2017, 15:05

FEM-Design 16.00.002

In FEM-Design 16 first service pack, it will be possible to manually insert load combinations to the Steel Joint Manual Design (besides load combinations automatically imported from the 3D model). Manually added load combinations will be shown in different color (blue) than the load combinations imported from 3D Structure model.

It will also be possible to import load combinations from an excel file in CVS format. This is an example of an excel file containing name of the load combinations (first column) and internal forces (following 3 columns).

In order to import this data, select Manual combinations..., go to Import..., and select the excel file. Press Ok.

Furthermore, user can decide if a particular combination should be used in calculations, by clicking in the particular cell in the Use column. By default, all combinations are used in calculations (and marked with X).
